Computer Techs

Join us for an indexing competition! Let's see how many records we can get indexed in one afternoon!

Event Planners

We will be helping Chest of Hope set up for an event they are hosting that evening for Domestic Violence Awareness Month at the Masonic Lodge in Tracy. The mission of Chest of Hope is: "through education, intervention and support, we build community awareness about domestic violence and empower the lives of the people we serve."

Humanitarians

Tracy Interfaith Ministries provides food and clothing to low-income and homeless families and individuals in Tracy, California. The operation has over one hundred volunteers who run their food bank, clothing store, and holiday giving programs. We need 20 volunteers to help organize, clean and support a number of other tasks at their facility in Tracy.

Movers

We will be moving some pallets at Haven For Peace, a woman’s shelter that offers temporary housing for women and children in the San Joaquin area. The director refers to the Haven as "God’s house" and shared that every time something needs replaced in the Haven, she prays for help and God always answers her prayers. This will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make a big impact in a short amount of time!

Painters

We will be painting two large rooms at Haven For Peace, a woman’s shelter that offers temporary housing for women and children in the San Joaquin area. The director refers to the Haven as "God’s house" and shared that every time something needs replaced in the Haven, she prays for help and God always answers her prayers. This will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make a big impact in a short amount of time!

Patriots

Share your gratitude for men and women serving our country in the armed forces! We will be putting together holiday packages and decorating boxes for individuals serving in the military.

Photo Editors

We will be gathering photos from all of the service projects throughout the afternoon to put into a slideshow, ready to show to the other stakes at our combined gathering meeting at 5:30. Great ready to get creative!

Singers and Musicians

Calling all musicians and singers! We will be traveling to a few local senior centers to sing, play our instruments, and spread peace and joy to our elderly brothers and sisters. We will also have the opportunity to spend time brightening their day. Come join us!

Sports Enthusiasts

Shoot. Pass. Dribble. Cheer. If you can do some of these skills, this service project is for you! We have invited the Manteca Stake Primary Activity Day age youth (ages 8-11) and their friends, to come to the Stake Center to our “Basketball Clinic.” We will be teaching the basic fundamentals of the game. You must come with some enthusiasm as you will help these young kids learn and practice some basketball skills.

Tree Trimmers

We will be trimming trees at Haven For Peace, a woman’s shelter that offers temporary housing for women and children in the San Joaquin area. The director refers to the Haven as "God’s house" and shared that every time something needs replaced in the Haven, she prays for help and God always answers her prayers. This will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make a big impact in a short amount of time!
